International convention

Almost on yearly basis, the Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America (AMJA) holds a five-day convention devoted to planned programs of scholarly papers, roundtable discussions, and panel sessions on a wide range of issues pertaining to Muslims living in the West in general and America specifically.

This serves as an attempt by our scholars to help overcome new challenges of facing our community at large and promote stronger ties and harmony between Muslims and their religion. It also aims to revive the Islamic tradition of tolerance and thoughtfulness across cultural lines through evolving the Islamic code of Fiqh and help in easing the transition of Muslims living in the West.

AMJA’s annual convention is a unique forum that allows for academic research, discussion and debates, and a final unified resolution that represents the opinion of the majority.
