AMJA Eid al-Fitr Statement

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Grantor of Mercy

All praise is due to Allah, and may His peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah.

The Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America (AMJA) congratulates Muslims throughout the world, and specifically in the US, on the arrival of Eid al-Fitr and announces the following:

Tomorrow, Tuesday April 9, 2024, will be the 30th of Ramadan due to the lack of credible sightings. Based on this, Wednesday April 10, 2024 will be the beginning of Shawwal and Eid al-Fitr..

We pray to Allah to aid our oppressed brothers and sisters wherever they may be, especially in Gaza, and to fulfill what He has promised them by saving them and giving them support.

Allah is All-Knowing of people’s intentions, and He is the one who guides to the straight path.
