My first child is 16 months and still breast feeding.Now I am again pregnant(2 months).I started to study islam through 2 institutions.I have been aiming for learning deen since 16 but had no chance,now alhamdulillah I got chance.

My parents are overseas,nobody is here to help me raise kids.Is it permissible for me to abort my pregnancy now as my child is 16 and nobody here to help and I want to study deen

Abortion in the first forty days of pregnancy upon the mutual agreement of both parents is permissible for a legitimate cause, such as the woman’s fear of not having the capacity to raise a newborn. Having said that, it is always preferable to avoid that, and if one relies on Allah’s help and puts his/her trust in Him, He will not them down. That fetus may become your favorite child one day.
