Question
Assalam Alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh. Are Muslims allowed to visit non-Muslim houses of worship? If so, is it for only specific reasons like interfaith events or weddings or funerals? Is there any difference between permissibility of going to houses of worship of the people of the book versus others? Jazakum Allah khairan.

Answer
Nothing I know in Islam prohibits Muslims from entering non-Muslims houses of Worship, especially if there is a reason for that, like to make Dawa, but Muslims should be careful not to be involved in any form of non-Islamic worship that might include any non-Islamic rites. Allah knows best.
