Question

Can a Muslim girl marry a Bahai man? In terms of principles, they have the same principles as in Islam, so there is no contradiction. They believe in Allah (swt) and Muhammad (pbuh).

Answer

According to the Fiqh Council of the Muslim World League in their annual convention in 1988:

Bahaism is an apostate sect from an Islamic perspective. Although they believe in Allah and His Prophet (saws), they believe that Mohammad is not the final prophet, and that they have their own prophet, which is the Baha himself. He claimed that he receives revelation abrogating any previous revelation, including the Quran itself.

Based on the above declaration, a Muslim man is prohibited from marrying a Bahai woman, and a Muslim woman is prohibited from marrying a Bahai man.
