Assalamu Alaikum.
AlHamdulillah, Allah has blessed me and my wife with her first pregnancy. She is 4 months pregnant. I would like to know if we are required (or is it better) to give Zakatul Fitr for the fetus.

No Zakat Al-Fitr required on behalf of the fetus. However, if you choose to pay it, it will be acceptable and rewardable in sha Allah.
