Assalam alaikum,

Jazakum Allah khayran (May Allah reward you well) for all this information. I am trying to get pregnant after two miscarriages. We took all the medications and we tried insemination, but, subhana Allah, nothing worked, so the doctor recommended In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). We want to know if it is halal or haram.

It is allowed to do IVF, as long as the sperm comes from the husband, the ovum comes from the wife and the zygote is planted in the same wife's womb. Any other combination is strictly forbidden.
