Question
Is eating pizza which contains only vegetables at restaurants permissible or forbidden? And how about the ones that contain only vegetables with beef added?
Answer
In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful
Praise be to Allah, prayers and peace be upon His Messenger, family members, companions and followers.
Absolutely, there is no problem in eating pizza that contains only vegetables. However, if it contains beef, then the permissibility depends on whether that beef is Halal,i.e. the animal is slaughtered on the Islamic Shari`ah way, or not, i.e a dead animal. Only then it is OK to eat it, but if it is not so, then it is forbidden to eat it. Now, it remains that you should ask in your locality about the Halal meat, and if it is so, then you can eat it, otherwise, you preferably can eat vegetable pizza only.
Allah knows best.
