Dear shaykh:

What is the Islamic ruling on wearing a tie for men, especially on his wedding day? Shaykh, I know that there are those who permit it and there are those who consider it disliked. So, what do you say, dear shaykh? I took the opinion that it is disliked to wear a tie, but the problem is that my family is asking me to do it. So, what would the ruling be if I just wear it on my wedding day, if you note that I don’t always wear it?
