Assalam alaikum wa rahmat Allah wa barkatuh,

 

I am planning to purchase a house. The Islamic Society of North America, Canada (ISNA) offers a Sharia-compliant system. Would you please tell me if this system offered by ISNA is actually 100% Islamic? Please see the following link:

Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmat Allah wa barakatuh,

 

Without reading the actual contract and associated paper work you intend to sign with them, it would be hard to determine the status of this transaction.

 

Many financial and housing companies claim to be Sharia-compliant, but most of them have failed to gain the trust of the Muslim community at large because they do not have a local, active Sharia Advisory Board to direct their activities appropriately.
