Is it permissible for the spouses to have oral sex?

All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessing be upon the Messenger of Allah, his household, his companions, and his followers.

 The basic rule is that it is permissible for the spouses to enjoy each other except to have anal sex and sexual intercourse during the menstrual period of the wife since there are Sharia'h texts that prohibit them, and practice anything that causes health problem because Islamic Sharia'h prohibits doing anything that causes harm or reciprocates harm. However, the tongue that recites the Qur'an, and glorifies Allah should not touch such areas of the body. Therefore, it would be better to avoid such practice. And Allah knows best.
