Answer
Whether your question is about having health insurance for yourself and the family, or it is regarding accepting health insurance from your clients as a physician; having health insurance is allowed only as needed. This permissibility is an exemption from the basic rule of the prohibition of any sort of commercial insurance, and the reason behind that is the dire need for such a service in North America in general due to the very high expense of healthcare.
