Question
are muslims allowed to marry non-muslims or from other religion?
Answer
AAWW
Only a Muslim man is allowed to marry a Christian or a Jew woman if she is a chaste one. Nevertheless, such a marriage out side the Muslim World is extremely disliked because of its potential consequences.
It is to be noted that a Muslim woman can not marry a man from the people of the book, and if she did so, the relation between the two is not considered a legitimate one from an Islamic perspective.
