Paying Zakat-Almaal .... Do the person receiving zakat should know that he/she is getting zakat money? or Do the person paying zakat is obliged to tell her/him that this is zakat money ? Do we have to pay zakat on gold which is in use (woman's jewelery)

1-      The Zakah recipient does not have to know what kind of money he is receiving. From his end, the Zakah payer must investigate and make sure that he is giving his Zakah to an eligible Zakah recipient. Also, he has to have pre-intention that what he is paying is his Zakah and not just an optional donation.

2-      No Zakah on the jewelry if the amount is within the average, and if it is for the personal use without having any commercial purposes behind owning it.
