Dear Sh. Hatem, ASA, I would like to ask about the use of contraceptive batches. Is the washing (Ghussul) will be accepted even if the water did not reach the spot of the batch?

The ghusl wouldn’t be valid if the water doesn’t reach the skin under the patch. You may remove the patch and then reapply it immediately after the ghusl, if it still can stick by itself. If not, apply a different one. On a side note, you may ask your doctor whether IUDs may be more suitable for you.
