1- if a person is unable to recite the entire surah al baqarah in his house to drive out the jinn can he play surah baqarah on tape recorder to serve the purpose?

2- is playing surah al baqarah in one room sufficient or should the sound reach every part of the house? jazallahu khair.

Reciting surat al Baqarah in one room is sufficient for all the house. You can play tape recording of surat alBaqarah If you can not recite it and I hope it will help, but the hadeeth about surat alBaqarah drives out the Shayateen from the house for three days, this is regard  reciting it, and not plying some recording, because this an act of worship and it needs an intention and there is no such intention in the recording recitation.
