salam aleikum ,kindly shed more light on whether Quran can be recited by a group of muslims to solve a problem facing them especially spiritual or trials from the unbelievers.

Walikum assalam wa RahmatuAllah, Reciting the Quran should be for seeking guidance or rewards, but not to solve problems through reading only. This will be an act of innovation in the religion and it is not allowed.
