What is the verdict of receiving intravenous and intramuscular injections, vitamin injections and various injections due to illness, such as pain killers and the like, for someone who is fasting?

Injections, whether intravenous or otherwise, do not break the fast, unless they are nutritious enough that they would suffice a patient's need for food. We ask Allah to accept our deeds and yours, and Allah Almighty is more Exalted and more Knowledgeable.
