Title: | If you missed the Jumuah Prayer when it was being prayed early, when should you pray the Dhuhr? |
Category: | Prayer |

May the peace, mercy and blessing of Allah be upon you. To proceed:
As we all know, some masajid pray the Jumuah Prayer before the time for Dhuhr, following the madhhab of Imam Ahmad, and between their Jumuah Prayer and the actual time for the Dhuhr is about an hour or more. So, if someone comes late and doesn’t catch the Jumuah with the imam, then when should he pray the Dhuhr? Should he put it off until its original time or pray the Dhuhr at the time of the Jumuah? Note that its time is before the actual time for Dhuhr by more than an hour.
Please advise, and may Allah reward you well.
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful,
All praise is due to Allah, and may peace and blessing be upon the Messenger of Allah, upon his household, his companions and those who have followed him. To proceed:
Whoever misses the Jumuah Prayer for one reason or another and he wants to pray the Dhuhr, it is not permissible for him to perform it before its time because the allowance is for advancing the Jumuah Prayer, not praying the Dhuhr early; the rest of the prayers remain in their regular time slots.
May Allah bless you; we hope that you will not be neglectful concerning the Jumuah Prayer, for whoever leaves three Jumuah prayers out of negligence, his heart will be sealed! We ask Allah to spare us and you.
And Allah Almighty is the Most High, and He knows best.
