In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah.

The Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America (AMJA) wishes to congratulate all Muslims in the United States and around the world with the happy occasion of the approach of Eid Al-Fitr, and we announce as follows:

> Tomorrow: Sunday, July 27th, 2014 will be the 30th and final day of Ramadhan, due to the lack of any reports of a moon sighting. Therefore Monday, July 28th, will be the date of Eid Al-Fitr this year.

On this great occasion, AMJA Resident Fatwa Committee also prays to Allah to lift the oppression and trials from the entire Muslim nation in general, and from our brothers and sisters in Syria and Gaza especially, and to stop the bloodshed, and to fulfill what He promised by saving them, giving them victory, and establishing them in the land.

Allah is all-knowing of man's intentions, and He is the one who guides to the straight path.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
